marketing leader with experience across operations, brand, content, comms, partnerships, & events
I have over a dozen years of experience in cross-functional marketing roles, having worked for media entities, a trade association, on the agency side, and currently for a leading blockchain startup.
I have successfully stewarded marketing projects of varying scale, from IRL brand experiences to digital campaigns, content strategies, and even a full OOH takeover of Times Square. Along the way I have had the opportunity to collaborate closely with brand founders and executives, leading creative agencies, top cultural talent and Fortune 500 companies, and to cultivate and lead high-performing global marketing teams.
Consistent throughout my career have been fast-paced yet purpose-driven environments, allowing me to develop strong project management skills and the nimbleness to handle shifting priorities and to strategically problem solve with ease. I also pride myself on bringing strong editorial skills and cultural resonance to all of my work.
Currently:
I am the VP of Marketing at the Algorand Foundation, the Singapore-based organization championing adoption of the Algorand blockchain. In this position I oversee global brand, campaigns, content, PR, partnerships (ex. World Chess, Envision Racing), integrated marketing, and events for the Algorand Foundation. I also manage day-to-day operations for the marketing team, including budget, processes, agency management, and team admin. I moved into this role after serving as the Senior Director of Ecosystem Marketing at Algorand Inc., the Boston-based team leading technical and product development for the blockchain.
Before this:
I booked thought leadership and industry trends programming at the International Council of Shopping Centers. ICSC is a membership organization serving more than 50,000 retail and real estate professionals across the globe. Their mission is to ensure that brick-and-mortar retail is recognized for the integral role it plays in communities.
And before that:
I was the Director of Editorial Programming for experiences at Condé Nast.
Working with editorial brands like Teen Vogue, WIRED, and Glamour, I conceptualized and executed programming for tent pole projects, booking everything from keynotes and panels to hands-on workshops, mentor sessions, and networking events. Highlights from this time include keynote speakers like Hillary Clinton, Ava DuVernay, and Microsoft's Satya Nadella.
During this role I also honed a particular expertise in curating creative experiential programming, like vintage shopping lessons with costume designer Patricia Field and an interactive robot petting zoo. I also gained great experience working with brand partners like PlayStation, TOMS, and Tesla to develop impactful and editorially-driven event integrations.
I also did these things:
-
Senior Editorial Events Manager at Fast Company (Aug 2014 - March 2017)
-
Editor of the New York Observer's culture newsletter "Very Short List" (Apr 2014 - March 2017)
-
Public Relations at Susan Magrino Agency (May 2013 - Aug 2014)
-
Social Media Strategy for The New Yorker (May 2012 - Apr 2013)
-
Student at Barnard College, B.A. English / American Literature (Sept 2009 - May 2012)
