New messaging strategy: Ready? Ready.
"Ready? Ready." - Algorand brand & messaging refresh
In June 2026, Algorand celebrated its seventh mainnet anniversary: seven years of uninterrupted uptime, instant finality, and reliable operation at global scale.
To mark the milestone, I led a comprehensive brand and messaging refresh across the company's website and owned channels. While the visual identity evolved, the core story remained unchanged: Algorand is ready.
The new messaging platform positions Algorand as infrastructure that is ready today—not someday—for the next generation of digital economies. Whether enabling post-quantum security, institutional-grade DeFi, agentic commerce, tokenized real-world assets, or global payments, the message reinforces that the technology is proven, dependable, and already delivering in production.
"Ready?" became more than a tagline—it became a strategic messaging framework that now informs product launches, campaigns, web experiences, events, social media, and executive communications. The strength of the platform lies in its flexibility: it can communicate technical readiness, customer readiness, ecosystem readiness, or the simple confidence to start building.
At an emotional level, "Ready?" signals preparedness, stability, and trust. It replaces uncertainty with confidence and complexity with reassurance, while preserving the audience's sense of agency. It's confident without being boastful, pragmatic rather than aspirational, and grounded in demonstrable product strengths rather than marketing hype.
For a company whose greatest differentiator is reliability, "Ready?" became a simple way to express a much larger promise.

"Built to Build" video series
We launched a beautiful new video series chronicling the stories of some beautiful Algorand blockchain developers! Web3 is the future, and these are some of the people building it 💪 💻 🧠 View the series:

Brand campaign: Coulda? Shoulda? Woulda? Algorand can.
In 2024 we decided to clarify Algorand's brand positioning. We identified a clear mission: to power a world where information has integrity and innovative solutions can scale. Visually, we’d portray a brand rooted in technological innovation, real people, and scale. These are the things Algorand has always been about.
With these new foundations in place, it was time to take the brand out to the world in our first awareness campaign. We kicked around a bunch of potential directions, but ultimately had our eureka moment: Algorand can.
⚡ It worked for the tech:
Looking for instant finality? Algorand can.
Need global scalability with low transaction fees? Algorand can.
Want programmability in languages like Python? Algorand can.
⚡ It worked for the use cases:
Empower a new generation of real estate investors? Algorand can.
Help people bank without banks? Algorand can.
Quickly and securely deliver humanitarian payments? Algorand can.
Bring flexibility to airline ticketing systems? Algorand can.
Protect the integrity of clinical trial data? Algorand can.
⚡ It worked in general:
Can a blockchain do all that? Algorand can.
This flexible, rallying message became the backbone of a campaign that spanned billboards, digital ads, influencer marketing, and even literal cans of water.
Some highlights:
📍 Launched at Devcon 2024, popped in at CfC St. Moritz 2025, and kept EthDenver hydrated
📍 Feat. across Bloomberg, Forbes, Brave Browser, and more
📍 Reached devs and degens on platforms like Stack Overflow, DappRadar, and of course, social media
All-in, we collected hundreds of millions of impressions and our microsite was visited by nearly half a million users. People spent meaningful time engaging with our case studies on actual, real, live-out-in-the-world use cases for blockchain, like Quantoz's digital Euro, Folks Finance's defi hub, Lofty's user-friendly platform for tokenized real estate, and more. Product whitepaper: Universal Chess Passport
I'm super proud to have helped bring this whitepaper to life! ♟️
Algorand Foundation’s principal architect, Bruno Martins, partnered with World Chess (operators of the FIDE Online Arena) to propose a universal chess passport — powered by blockchain-based decentralized identifiers (DID) and verifiable credentials. As Bruno put it:
“Chess has always been a proving ground for big ideas — from Deep Blue to AlphaZero. This could be another watershed moment. It’s not just a tech upgrade; it’s a rethink of how identity and trust should work in a global, digital-first sport.”
What makes this exciting:
♟️Built on secure, privacy-preserving decentralized identity
♟️Enables players to prove their identity, verify ratings, redeem rewards, and maintain reputation across platforms — without giving up control of their data
♟️Brings fairness, trust, and freedom to focus on what matters: the game
In a fragmented ecosystem, this solution unlocks faster tournament registration, cross-platform ratings, and universally accepted credentials — paving the way to bring chess into the age of Web3.
If it succeeds here, it could inspire similar breakthroughs across esports, education, and beyond.
